The "Phonics Vowels App" would be great for IPad learners. Phonics Vowels teaches each word's phonics spelling, beginning sound, word family phonics, short vowel sound, and images with animations and interactions for each word. There are 30 different vowel sound combination groups which focus on the short vowels, long vowels and two vowel combinations phonics learning. After kids complete the phonics spelling in each group, the matching game follows, and kids can review what they learned previously: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/phonics-vowels-short-vowels/id453633094?mt=8
